Create a requester account

A TaskerData account is free. The same account gives you a requester dashboard for posting tasks and a worker dashboard for doing them.

One account, two dashboards

There is no separate requester sign-up. Everyone creates the same kind of account, and every account has a requester balance and a worker balance from the start.

You can move between the two dashboards whenever you like. In the requester dashboard, use Switch to worker. In the worker dashboard, use Switch To Requester. Your campaigns keep running and your requester balance stays as it is while you are on the worker side.

Important: Only one account per person is allowed. Multiple accounts, self-referrals, using a VPN to hide your location and colluding with other users can lead to suspension. If you already have a worker account, use it to post tasks too.

1

Open the sign-up page

Click Create a requester account on the TaskerData for requesters page, or open the sign-up page directly. If you already have an account, sign in instead.

2

Fill in your details

Enter your first name, last name, email, username, password, country, gender, date of birth and phone number. These fields don't allow pasting, so type them in.

3

Agree to the terms

Tick I agree to the Terms and Conditions, then click Create an account.

4

Verify your email

We send a verification link to your email address. Open it to confirm your address. You can't use the dashboards until your email is verified.

5

Choose Requester

On the Get Started page, click Start as Requester to open your requester dashboard.

What the sign-up form checks

  • Username: 8 to 20 characters. Letters, numbers, underscores and dots are allowed.
  • Password: at least 6 characters, with at least one digit, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one special character.
  • Email, username and phone number must not already be used by another account.
  • Sign-ups from VPNs, proxies, Tor and hosting networks are blocked.
  • Only one account can be created from the same device or the same IP address.

Tip: Use your real details. Your name, email, country, phone and date of birth are shown as read-only in Settings, so you can't edit them later yourself.

Verify your email

After you sign up, you land on the Verify Email page. Click the link in the email we sent you. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then use Resend Email Verification. There is a short wait between resends and a limit on how many you can send. If you reach the limit, contact support.

If a link says it doesn't work any more, it was already used or has expired. If your email is already verified, just sign in. Otherwise, send yourself a new link.

Settings

Open Settings from the user menu in either dashboard. There you can:

  • Turn two-factor authentication on or off.
  • Change your password. After a change, you have to wait 7 days before you can change it again.
  • Turn email notifications on or off. These include updates about invoices, payments and more.
  • See and remove cards you saved when making a deposit.
  • Choose the site language and your profile visibility.
  • See your recent sign-in activity.
  • Delete your account. This can't be undone.

Two-factor authentication

When two-factor authentication is on and you sign in from a new IP address, we email you a code. You enter it on the Secure Login Verification page before you can continue. This stops someone who has your password from signing in from somewhere else.

We recommend turning it on, especially once you have money on your requester balance.

Keep your account safe

  • Use a strong password that you don't use on other sites.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication in Settings.
  • Check your sign-in activity in Settings from time to time. If you see a sign-in you don't recognize, change your password and contact support.
  • Never share your password or the codes we email you. TaskerData staff will never ask for them.
  • Don't let anyone else use your account, and don't use someone else's.

Common questions

I already have a worker account. Do I need a new one to post tasks?

No, and you shouldn't create one. Use Switch To Requester in your worker dashboard. Your requester balance is separate from your worker balance.

Do I have to pass the screening test to post campaigns?

No. The screening test is only for doing tasks as a worker. You can use the requester dashboard as soon as your email is verified.

Can I change my email or name later?

These details are read-only in Settings. If something needs to be corrected, contact support.
