DocsReviewing work

Bulk review and export

When a campaign brings in many submissions, you can approve them in one step and download everything workers sent as a spreadsheet.

Find the submissions you need

In Campaigns, use the status filter and Search campaigns to find the campaign, then open it. Above the submission list, the filter buttons show how many submissions have each status: All, Working now, To review, Approved, Revision asked and Rejected. Choose one to show only those submissions.

Tip: Start with To review. It shows exactly the work that is still waiting for your decision.

Approve all pending submissions

When submissions are waiting for review, the campaign page shows an Approve all button with the number of submissions it will approve. It covers new submissions and resubmitted ones in this campaign.

1

Check a sample first

Open a few submissions with View and make sure the work meets your instructions.

2

Choose Approve all

A window asks you to confirm and shows how many submissions will be approved.

3

Confirm

Choose Approve all again. Each approved worker is paid from the money reserved for their position, exactly as with a single approval.

  • Submissions with a revision request are not included. They are waiting for the worker.
  • If you approve the last open positions, the campaign is marked completed.
  • The same Approve all button exists for qualifications that you review yourself.

Important: Bulk approval can't be undone. Reject or ask for revisions on the weak submissions first, then approve the rest.

Export submissions to CSV

Choose Export CSV above the submission list to download a CSV file. The file name is based on the campaign title. It includes every submission in the campaign, whatever filter you have selected. The file is saved in UTF-8 so Excel opens it with the right characters, and it opens in Google Sheets and other spreadsheet apps too.

Campaign typeWhat the CSV contains
Campaign with proof (text, images, video)One row per submission: worker, status, submitted at, text proof, image proof links, video proof link, assigned image and annotations.
Campaign with a templateWorker, status and submitted at, then one column per field in your template, using the question text as the header. Any extra data workers sent is added as more columns at the end.
Template campaign with a data fileOne row per row of your file a worker answered, with a Row column that tells you which line of your file the answers belong to.
QualificationWorker, status, submitted at and one column per question with the worker's answer. For multiple-choice questions the option text is shown.

Tip: Give every field in your template a name. It keeps your answers and CSV columns tidy.

See all answers at a glance

For campaigns that use a template, the Answers overview button sits next to Export CSV. It sums up the answers workers gave to each question, with figures such as the median time on task, so you can spot patterns and odd answers before you approve or export.

  • Filter the overview by All, Pending, Approved or Rejected.
  • Download CSV saves the answers for the status you selected. Download JSON saves the same data with the questions, time on task and the data row each answer belongs to.
  • If your data file has test rows with right answers, the overview shows how accurate each worker was.
  • When two or more workers answered the same row, Agreement between workers shows how often they agree, and Download majority answers (CSV) gives you the most common answer for each row. Rejected submissions don't count.

After a bulk approval

Once workers are approved you can thank all of them at once with Give bonus to all approved. See the Bonuses guide for how it works and what it costs.

Common questions

Can I bulk reject submissions?

No. Rejections need a reason for each worker, so you reject submissions one at a time.

Does the export include only the filtered submissions?

Export CSV always includes every submission in the campaign. For template campaigns, Download CSV in the Answers overview saves only the status you selected.

Can I export to Excel format?

The export is a CSV file, which Excel opens directly. Save it as an Excel workbook from Excel if you need that format.
