Privacy Policy

Last updated October 12, 2026

In plain words

  • We collect what we need to run accounts, pay people and stop fraud: your sign-up details, IP addresses, a device fingerprint and your work.
  • Requesters see your username and your work, never your email, phone, real name or IP.
  • Some tasks use your location, a screen recording, or a live view of the task page while you work.
  • We count typed vs pasted characters, but never record what you type or your clipboard.
  • We don't sell your data. You can see, correct or delete it: email [email protected].

This summary helps you find your way. The full text below is what applies.

1. Who we are

TaskerData ("we", "us") runs taskerdata.com, its worker, requester and blog sites, and our Discord bot. We are based in Lithuania and are the controller of the personal data described here: we decide why and how it is used. You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].

When a requester collects personal data through their own campaign (for example voice recordings or survey answers about you), that requester decides how they use it and is responsible for it. They must tell you in the task what the data is for.

2. What we collect

When you sign up and use your account

  • First and last name, email, username, password (stored only as a secure hash), country, gender, date of birth and phone number.
  • Verification data: email confirmation, a one-time code if you verify your phone by SMS (stored hashed), and email codes for two-step sign-in and payouts.
  • Your settings, profile visibility (public or private), referral link and who referred you.

To keep the platform safe

  • IP addresses and the network, country and browser (user agent) they come from, each time you use your account.
  • Sign-in history: time, IP, country, device type, operating system and browser.
  • A device fingerprint: an identifier calculated from your browser and device settings, used to spot one person running several accounts.
  • Whether your connection is a VPN, proxy, Tor or data-centre network (checked when you sign up).
  • Which days you are active, and which tasks you view and click on.
  • Live support view: while you have our site open, our administrators can see which page you are on, for how long, and your device type, browser and screen size. An administrator can also watch a page live as you use it (scrolling, mouse movements, taps and clicks, and text you highlight on the page) to help with support, find problems and improve the site. Everything you type into forms is hidden from them and is never sent, and passwords and payment details are never visible. Nothing is sent while no administrator is looking, and nothing is recorded or stored: it is shown live and then gone.

When you work on tasks

  • Your submissions: answers, text, labels, files, photos and recordings, time spent and the review history (approvals, rejections, revisions, disputes, appeals).
  • Screen recordings with sound, when a task asks for video proof and you choose to record.
  • Your precise location (GPS from your browser, accurate to about 200 m or better), only for field and mystery-shopping tasks that require it, and only when you submit.
  • For text fields, how many characters were typed and how many were pasted. We never record what you typed or what was on your clipboard.
  • Live view: while you work on a template task, the requester can watch the task page live (what is filled in, your mouse movements and clicks inside the task). Only the task area is shared, not your screen or other tabs, and nothing is shared while no one is watching.
  • Your screening-test and qualification results, approval rate and achievements.

Money

  • Requesters: deposits and their status. Card payments are handled by Stripe and crypto payments by NOWPayments. We don't see or store your full card number.
  • Workers: balance, earnings, bonuses, payout requests, the wallet address or email you give for payouts, and gift card details we issue to you (card numbers and codes are stored encrypted and shown only to you).
  • Identity checks: if we ask you to verify your identity, either our provider Persona collects it or you upload photos of an ID document (passport, driving licence, ID card or residence permit) and a selfie.

Other features

  • Lottery: the tickets and ticket credit you earn from offers, and any prizes you win.
  • Offer walls: which partner offers you click and complete, and what you earn from them.
  • Discord: if you link your account, your Discord user ID and your TaskerData account ID. Your password is checked once and not stored.
  • Messages you send to support, dispute chats and reports you file.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

What forLegal basis (GDPR)

Leaderboards, achievements, Worker of the Month and Discord featuresOur legitimate interest in a lively community; you can make your profile private

Automatic decisions

Some decisions are made automatically: a sign-up is blocked when the device or IP is already registered or the connection is a VPN or proxy; two accounts are suspended when one device signs in to both; some tasks are only shown to workers above an approval rate. If one of these affects you, email us and a member of our team will review it.

4. Who can see your data

Requesters

For their campaigns, requesters see your username, the work and proof you submit (including recordings, photos and location on field tasks), the time you spent, typed/pasted counts, and the live view described above. They do not see your email, phone, real name, IP address or payout details.

Other users and the public

  • Your public profile, leaderboard place, achievements and Worker of the Month awards show your username (and, on profiles, your country). You can make your profile private in settings.
  • Lottery: when you earn tickets, your username and country appear on the live ticket feed, and winners' usernames appear in the list of past draws, even if your profile is private. Tickets are earned automatically when you complete offer-wall offers, so if you don't want this, don't complete those offers.

Service providers

We use these companies to run TaskerData. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.

ProviderWhat they do for us
CloudflareHosting, database, file storage (submissions, recordings, ID documents), security and country detection

Offer-wall partners

When you open an offer wall, the partner receives your TaskerData user ID and the data it needs to show and credit offers. CPX Research receives your IP address, browser, date of birth, gender and country; OGAds receives your IP address and browser. AdBlueMedia, Lootably and TimeWall run inside our pages under their own privacy policies. Partners report back which offers you completed.

Others

We share data with authorities when the law requires it, to protect people from harm or fraud, or to defend legal claims, and with a buyer if TaskerData is ever sold (under this policy). We don't sell your personal data.

5. Data outside the EU

Some providers above (for example Cloudflare, Google, Stripe and Discord) process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. When they do, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • While your account is open, we keep your account information and history.
  • When you delete your account, we delete your profile, balance records, sign-in history, device fingerprints, sessions and settings. We keep:
    • work you submitted, which stays with the requester under the Terms;
    • IP address logs and records of suspensions, to prevent fraud and repeat abuse;
    • payment and payout records, for as long as accounting and tax laws require;
    • files in storage (proofs, recordings, ID documents) until they are cleaned up. Email us if you want them deleted sooner and we'll remove what we're not required to keep.
  • ID documents are used only to verify you, and we delete them on request once we no longer need them for that or a legal duty.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • see the personal data we hold about you and get a copy,
  • correct it (most details can be changed in Settings),
  • delete it (you can delete your account in Settings),
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including the automatic decisions in section 3,
  • give it to you or another service in a portable format,
  • withdraw consent at any time, for example to analytics cookies or optional emails.

Email [email protected] from the address on your account. We'll answer within one month. You can also complain to the Lithuanian data protection authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt), or to the authority where you live.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, encrypted gift card details, rate limits, optional two-step sign-in and email codes for payouts. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your rights at risk, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Age

TaskerData is only for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that someone younger has an account, we'll close it and delete their data. If you think a child is using TaskerData, please tell us.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when what we collect or how we use it changes, and change the date at the top. For important changes we'll also tell you by email or on the site.
