Auto-approve answers
If your qualification test uses only choice questions, TaskerData can grade every submission the moment the worker sends it. You don't have to review anything by hand.
When automatic approval is available
The checkbox Approve/Reject worker automatically appears in the qualification form only when all of these are true:
- Your Qualification Type is Questions.
- Every question uses the answer type Radio or Checkbox. Quotation Area blocks are fine, because they have no answer.
- No question uses the Text answer type.
- Every Radio question has its correct option marked, and every Checkbox question has at least one correct option marked.
Tip: If the checkbox is missing, look for a question with a Text answer or a question without a marked correct answer.
How to mark correct options
Add your questions
Use Question, Quote Question, Image Question or Video Question, and set Worker should answer with to Radio or Checkbox.
Add the options
Click + Add option for each choice the worker can pick.
Mark the right answer
For Radio, mark the one correct option. For Checkbox, mark every option that must be ticked.
Fix mistakes
Use Reset Correct Answer (or Reset Correct Answer(s) for checkboxes) to clear your marks and choose again.
Turn it on
Tick Approve/Reject worker automatically. If you leave it unticked, you review every submission yourself.
Important: If you later change a question so it no longer qualifies, for example by switching it to Text, the automatic option is switched off again.
How grading works
- Radio question: the worker must pick the option you marked.
- Checkbox question: the worker must tick exactly the options you marked, no more and no fewer.
- The worker passes only if every question is right. One wrong answer means the submission is rejected.
What happens on pass or fail
A worker who passes is approved right away and can take your campaigns that require this qualification. If you set a Worker Qualification Bonus, it is paid at the same moment. The worker receives 90% of the bonus amount.
A worker who fails is rejected right away. A rejected submission doesn't use up a position, so another worker can take it. Each worker can take a qualification only once.
Important: If your balance can't cover a passing worker's bonus, that submission is kept as pending instead. Top up your balance and approve it yourself.
Templates can be graded too
For a Custom Template qualification, turn on Approve or reject automatically under the template preview. Pick the right answers for the fields you want checked: choices, dropdowns, tick boxes, numbers, sliders or short text. Fields you leave empty aren't checked.
Then choose a Pass mark: All right, or 90, 80, 70, 60 or 50 percent of the checked fields. For short text, capitals and extra spaces don't matter. You must pick the right answer for at least one field, or turn off automatic approval.
Limits
- Text answers can't be graded automatically in a Questions test. Use manual review if you need them.
- The worker bonus is only available with automatic approval or an external source, never with manual review.
- Automatic approval and the external source option can't be combined, because an external test has no answer questions.
Common questions
Can I check a submission after it was graded automatically?
Graded submissions are already approved or rejected. Only pending submissions can be reviewed by hand.
Is partial credit possible?
Not in a Questions test: every question must be right. In a Custom Template you can set a pass mark below 100%.
Does a failed worker cost me a position?
No. Rejected submissions don't count toward your positions.
